Join a collaborative Equity Sales team at the heart of Macquarie Capital’s global equities platform. This is an opportunity to build relationships with leading institutional investors across EMEA, connecting them with investment opportunities, market insights and corporate access across Asia-Pacific equity markets. As a member of our London Equity Sales team, you will develop and grow relationships with clients across the UK and EMEA, helping them identify investment opportunities across Asia-Pacific equities. Combining research insights with your own analysis of economic, political and industry developments, you will develop sales strategies that help clients navigate evolving market conditions. Working closely with research analysts, strategists and trading colleagues across Asia-Pacific, you will bring investment themes to life through client meetings, presentations and events. You will also have the opportunity to facilitate interactions between clients and company management teams, creating valuable opportunities for engagement and insight. Through this role, you will be empowered to develop long‑term client relationships while contributing to the continued success of the broader equities platform.
What You Offer
- 3-5 years’ experience within equity sales, sales trading, equity research or a related institutional markets role
- Strong knowledge of Asian equity markets and the ability to form investment views using company, market and macroeconomic analysis
- Proven relationship management and business development skills with institutional clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical capability, including experience interpreting data and translating insights into commercial opportunities
- Proficiency with tools such as Bloomberg and Excel
- Asian language skills, particularly Mandarin, would be beneficial
