Our team provides essential technology support and device lifecycle management for colleagues across Macquarie. We are responsible for ensuring the smooth provision, deployment, and disposal of IT assets, working closely with internal teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions. Our collaborative approach ensures that everyone in the organisation has the tools they need to succeed. Please note this is a fixed term opportunity for 1 year.
As an IT Device Support Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for technology support and device logistics. You will coordinate all aspects of device lifecycle management, from initial provision to final disposal. Your role will involve hands-on management of IT assets, assisting colleagues and stakeholders with technology needs, and ensuring devices are built, deployed, and maintained efficiently. Your flexible and enthusiastic approach will help you multi-task and prioritise in a dynamic environment, while your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide outstanding support to our internal teams.
What you offer:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of Office O365 and Windows 11 and supporting end user access management tools, including Active Directory
- Basic troubleshooting and knowledge of mobile devices, specifically Apple iOS, MacOS, and Android
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as record-keeping skills
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and approachable manner, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work full time in the office
