In this role, you join a collaborative payroll team with a global remit, helping ensure our colleagues across the business are supported through reliable payroll outcomes. Your work underpins trust, compliance and continuous improvement, while giving you exposure to complex payroll environments and meaningful stakeholder relationships.

What role will you play?
You play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant payroll outcomes by working closely with Operations, People and Culture, Finance, risk teams, the wider business and external payroll vendors. Reporting to a Payroll Manager, you apply your analytical and interpersonal skills to resolve employee and stakeholder queries, investigate issues and turn insights into process improvements that reduce operational risk. Your attention to detail supports high-quality payroll processing and adherence to relevant legislation, while your curiosity and problem-solving mindset help enhance payroll systems and procedures in a global, team-based environment. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.
What you offer:
- Experience across end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll calculations, statutory deductions, tax and social security withholding, and benefits administration.
- Exposure to payroll delivery across multiple EMEA countries, with a working understanding of regional legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical capability, including confident use of advanced Excel functions and data analysis tools to identify issues and improve outcomes.
