This six-month internship gives you the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues on meaningful, real-world transactions shaping the infrastructure sector across the UK, Europe and globally. You'll build technical skills, contribute to live deals and gain hands-on experience as you support the team across a range of ongoing projects.

What role will you play? Our Infrastructure Advisory team, within Macquarie Capital, partners with clients across the infrastructure and energy sectors to deliver a broad range of advisory capabilities. This includes buy- and sell-side M&A advisory, capital structuring, and debt solutions, enabling our clients to secure investment, pursue strategic growth opportunities, and execute high impact transactions.
As an off-cycle intern, you will contribute to live transactions through financial analysis, company valuations and market research. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop technical and advisory skills through a range of activities including preparation of research and presentation materials, financial analysis and valuations for pitches or live deals.
We are looking to fill internship slots from September 2026 and January 2027. These internships will be 4-5 months in duration.
What you offer:
- You are in your final year of university (bachelor's or master's), or graduated in the last year with an excellent academic record.
- A basic understanding of financial advisory processes, valuation, accounting, and financial modelling.
- Strong interest in infrastructure.
- Previous internship experience in private equity, M&A, or deal advisory.
