What role will you play?

As a Manager in the Global Credit Assurance team, you will contribute to assurance reviews across credit risk frameworks, assessing the effectiveness of controls and governance processes to help ensure risks are managed within appetite. Working closely with stakeholders across the business and Risk Management Group, you will analyse credit risk data, identify trends and potential vulnerabilities, and provide practical insights that strengthen risk management practices. Through your work, you will help enhance the design, measurement, evaluation and reporting of credit risk while supporting a strong and sustainable control environment. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

What You Offer

  • 4-6 years proven experience in a credit risk discipline preferably credit assurance but will consider credit decisioning or risk advisory experience
  • Knowledge of retail, commercial or wholesale credit and an understanding of credit risk frameworks and controls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends and apply sound judgement in ambiguous situations.
