What We Offer

An opportunity has arisen to join Macquarie Asset Management’s Change Management team, reporting to our Head of Change Management. The team is on a journey to build change management capability as a proactive strategic enablement function – driving adoption and increasing ROI across a live portfolio of digital, data and AI initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in driving business change activities for our Real Assets and Real Estate divisions, which combined represent $260billion of assets under management and 600 team members across 30+ locations.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

You will drive day to day change management activities, partnering effectively with digital teams to manage a portfolio of initiatives, working through the impacts of the changes and supporting the business with adoption.

Shaping change, as opposed to simply delivering it, you will engage in initiates to influence design, sequencing and rollout in favour of the end user; run impact assessments that establish the specifics of each change and translate them into a plan; and build and maintain persona profiles for Real Assets audiences, from deal teams to asset-level operations.

You will design and run the activity that moves people – such as workshops, targeted communications, training, self-service enablement and leader-led engagement – and will define adoption and impact metrics, tracking benefits through to realisation and evidencing the contribution of change to our Objective Key Results. You will build trusted relationships at every level, from senior management to Analysts, and will identify and manage resistance early and effectively.

Lastly, you will contribute to the advancement of the function, working as part of our global Change Management team and aligning on approach, standards and frameworks. You will apply and help to evolve our AI-enabled change toolkit and partner with full-stack teams and Internal Communications to ensure change is embedded in existing channels rather than bolted on.

What You Offer

  • 6+ years’ experience in change management, transformation or consulting, including experience owning a portfolio of concurrent initiatives rather than a single programme
  • Track record of taking change through to measurable adoption — you can talk about what people did differently, not just what you shipped
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority, and holding a position under pressure
  • Exposure to asset management, real assets, infrastructure or real estate is an advantage, though curiosity about the business matters more than prior sector experience
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your own work, and interested in how they change the change profession
  • Recognised change certification (Prosci, CCMP or equivalent) is advantageous but not required

Benefits

  • 1 wellbeing leave day per year and a minimum of 25 days of annual leave.
  • 26 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of paid transition leave upon return to work and 6 weeks’ paid leave for secondary caregivers
