Join our expanding Credit division within Macquarie Asset Management Credit, based in London. The team focuses on European credit across investment grade and high-yield public fixed income markets, supporting a range of portfolio styles such as insurance, absolute return, and benchmark portfolios. Collaborating closely with colleagues in portfolio management and credit research across regions, the team plays a vital role in delivering value to our clients.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Portfolio Manager, you will assist in trade execution, relative value analysis, and trade workflow, focusing on European credit markets. You will support trading activity, automate portfolio management and trade processes, and contribute to various client reporting requirements. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with a global team, leveraging your skills to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

What You Offer
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in credit and fixed income markets
  • Strong quantitative skills with expertise in Excel, Python, and SQL
  • Ability to work with large data sets, analyse complex data, and extract actionable insights
  • Passion for credit and fixed income markets
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and BlackRock Aladdin (preferred but not required)
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset, with the ability to thrive in a global team environment
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships across the business at all levels
  • Experience supporting trading activity and automating portfolio management processes
  • Familiarity with client reporting requirements and workflows in financial markets
