Our Internal Audit team within the Commodities and Global Markets and Operations Portfolio focuses on providing independent assessment and assurance over the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The team works closely with various business units to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By conducting thorough audits and collaborating with stakeholders, the team plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and stability of our operations. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.
You will be responsible for leading the EMEA audit team covering the Commodities and Global Markets and Operations business lines. This role is critical in delivering independent assurance to support risk management, governance, and internal control effectiveness across the business. You will lead risk-based audits evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of governance and controls across the first and second lines of defense. By performing audits, continuous monitoring and controls testing, the role provides insight and drives positive change within the organisation. In addition to internal working relationships, you will be responsible for managing senior stakeholder relationships across our trading business.
