Our team invests across private markets to create long term value. You will work with us to source and shape investments across diverse sectors as part of our private equity strategy. Principal Finance is the balance sheet investing arm of Macquarie Capital. Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibilities will be identifying, analysing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities.
  • Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts.
  • Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions.
  • Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence-based approach.
  • Preparing critical analysis including financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis.
  • Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations.
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and preparation of strategic reviews.

What you offer

  • 2-3 years of full time experience at a leading global investment bank or established private equity firm.
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with extensive exposure to business analysis/research and financial modelling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Additional European language skills are advantageous.
