Join Macquarie's EMEA Futures team as a Senior Execution Trader, supporting the continued growth of our Multi-Asset Futures and Options business. Working within our global client franchise, you will provide high-touch execution services to a broad institutional client base while contributing to business development, client coverage, and strategic growth initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing futures execution platform, leveraging Macquarie's global reach, technology capabilities, and cross-asset expertise.

As a member of the EMEA Futures team, you will support the execution of futures and options trading activity for a diverse institutional client base, including asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates, and financial institutions. Through high-touch client service, market insight, and strong relationship management, you will help clients achieve their trading objectives while identifying opportunities for business growth and broader franchise development.

Working closely with colleagues across Commodities and Global Markets, you will contribute to cross-selling initiatives and promote Macquarie's execution capabilities, including Direct Electronic Access (DEA) and algorithmic trading solutions. You will also play an important role in maintaining effective controls and achieving business objectives, while upholding the highest standards of risk management, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct.

What you offer:

  • Deep knowledge of global futures and options markets across multiple asset classes.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a revenue-generating execution sales/trading role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, growing, and retaining institutional or corporate client relationships, with a strong track record of revenue generation.
  • Strong ability to identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities across a shared client base.
  • Experience working with commodity-focused clients and knowledge of commodity markets is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of electronic execution, Direct Electronic Access (DEA), synthetic trading, and algorithmic trading strategies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and business development skills.
