This is an exciting opportunity within Macquarie’s Commodity Market and Finance desk, where you will be managing the daily movements around inventory financing transactions, including running profit and loss reporting and exposure. What role will you play? You will be working in a critical role managing physical metal movements and inventory throughout EMEA and more globally, working with the business to identify and mitigate issues before they become an issue. You will also be working closely with clients to manage their business flow, while coordinating the transportation, storage and delivery of metals traded in/out of warehouses. Lastly, you will be ensuring compliance within London Metal Exchange regulations, including documenting requirements, metal handling procedure and reporting, as well as performing control assessments on third party logistics provided.

What you offer:

  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial deal terms, title transfer documents and Delivery Terms
  • Multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Aptitude for building relationships both inside and outside of the firm and ability to communicate effectively with a wide array of people with varying product knowledge
  • Be aware of VAT/REACH (Registering, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations within the EMEA region
