Manager, Debt Structuring, Private Credit
With approximately £30bn of assets under management, the Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit portfolio invests across various industry sectors and geographies, primarily in the US, UK, and continental Europe. Our focus includes renewable energy (solar and wind), conventional power, infrastructure assets (roads, rail, airports), digital infrastructure, social housing, real estate, and core plus infrastructure.

Role Overview
As our Private Credit business expands, we seek an infrastructure investment professional to join the Portfolio Monitoring Team. You will collaborate closely with origination and investment teams in New York and London, managing a defined pool of assets in the US and Europe.
Your responsibilities include reviewing financial models and assumptions, analyzing covenanted deliverables (financial statements, ratios, operating reports, ESG reports), and assessing credit ratings. You will handle waiver and consent processes, conduct due diligence, and communicate with borrowers to negotiate risk-balanced solutions. Effective stakeholder management and agility across multiple workstreams such as portfolio reporting, ad hoc projects, and investor communications are essential.
Candidate Profile
To succeed, you should have at least 6 years of experience with competencies including:
- Understanding and experience in structuring or analyzing credit risk in infrastructure and/or corporate debt
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating investment issues clearly in writing and verbally
- Comfort in analytical discussions, with a commercial approach to risk decisions and financial model review experience
- Knowledge of due diligence processes (legal, technical, financial)
- Understanding of debt documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Experience managing junior analysts is beneficial but not required
- An entrepreneurial spirit with curiosity and a drive to implement positive change and develop initiatives
