Join the team responsible for managing Investment Risk across Macquarie Asset Management’s public markets businesses. What role will you play?
Spearheading this function in EMEA, you will contribute to the implementation of investment guidelines, monitor risks and investigate and resolve breaches for our public markets businesses, across a wide range of products in fixed income and equities. You will complete ongoing guideline set up, review and maintenance, as well as portfolio investment risk monitoring, risk analytics and review of portfolio risk profiles. You will also help to foster a highly collaborative environment as part of a global team – working closely with traders, portfolio managers, compliance and colleagues in risk, as well as other operational groups such as trade operations and client services.
What you offer
- 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management, working at either an asset manager or investment bank
- Experience in analysing market and credit risk and knowledgeable about the financial markets and instruments.
- Experience working with collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) is advantageous
- Adept at quickly interpreting information and efficiently communicating with investment teams to enforce investment limits when required
- Advanced analytical, problem solving and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
- Proficient with Excel, able to utilise computer languages like SQL, VBA and Python, and experienced with industry systems such as Aladdin and Bloomberg
