In this role, you will partner closely with business teams across Macquarie Asset Management to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused compliance advice that supports fund origination, distribution and ongoing management across credit and insurance strategies. Reporting to the EMEA Credit and Insurance Compliance Lead, you will work with senior stakeholders, governance forums and global compliance colleagues to review new transactions, funds and products, ensuring regulatory requirements are understood and effectively embedded. You will help shape and maintain a robust compliance framework for UK regulated entities, contribute to regulatory reporting and oversee the monitoring and escalation of key compliance risks. By staying ahead of regulatory developments and supporting strategic projects, you will play a key role in enabling the business to operate with confidence in a dynamic regulatory environment. This role requires three days a week in our advertised location.

What you bring:

  • Experience in compliance within asset management, with strong exposure to private markets, credit, infrastructure or multi‑asset strategies
  • Knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply this in a practical, business‑facing way
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and governance forums
  • Commercial mindset with sound judgement, balancing regulatory requirements with business outcomes
  • Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and continuously build your expertise in areas such as AIFMD and MiFID
