You will play an important role in supporting the rates and market data capabilities that underpin trading, valuation and risk management activities across Commodities and Global Markets. What role will you play?
Joining the Rates Management Team within the Commodities and Global Markets post-trade division, you will partner closely with trading, technology and risk stakeholders to analyse business requirements and deliver solutions that support trading, valuation and risk management activities. The role will focus on understanding new trading requirements, translating business needs into functional outcomes and supporting the design and implementation of rates and curve solutions across a broad range of derivative products. Working across strategic initiatives and platform enhancements, you will help identify process improvement opportunities, contribute to the optimisation of rates capture and reporting processes, and support the delivery of scalable and sustainable solutions. Acting as a key link between business and technology teams, you will use your analytical mindset and stakeholder management skills to help drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What you offer
- Experience as business analyst within financial services, ideally across risk analytics, market data or derivatives environments.
- Strong understanding of derivatives products across commodities, foreign exchange and/or interest rate markets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business, technology and risk stakeholders to deliver practical and sustainable solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to managing complex challenges.
- Familiarity with technology platforms and market data providers, with exposure to Python or similar scripting languages being advantageous.
