Joining the Financial Planning and Analysis team within Macquarie Asset Management, you will play a key role in providing insight, analysis and strategic support that helps senior leaders make informed decisions, while driving process improvement and expanding the reach of a high-performing team. As an experienced Associate within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will lead business performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities for the central Sales and Marketing team, delivering high-quality insight and reporting that supports effective decision-making and cost management. Partnering with senior stakeholders across Macquarie Asset Management, you will provide clear and actionable analysis of business performance, cost and staffing movements, helping leaders understand trends and make informed decisions.
The role offers significant exposure across the business as you build trusted relationships, expand the team's support into currently under-served areas and enhance the quality and depth of financial planning and analysis provided to stakeholders. Alongside this, you will drive process improvement and automation initiatives that increase the efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of reporting and cost allocation activities, while contributing to strategic projects that support the continued growth and evolution of the team.
What you offer:
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, business performance reporting or cost management within a large and complex organisation, with experience in asset management or financial services viewed favourably.
- A recognised finance qualification such as CA or CPA, alongside strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to generate meaningful business insights.
- Confidence building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and communicating financial information clearly to support decision-making.
- A proactive and curious approach to identifying process improvement and automation opportunities that enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance detailed analysis with a broader commercial perspective; experience with Anaplan is advantageous.
