Macquarie Asset Management is looking to add to its growing Private Credit business by hiring a driven individual to join the EMEA Direct Lending Portfolio Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to have an immediate impact on a growing business. We have developed a third-party direct lending strategy that leverages Macquarie's extensive experience as a principal investor and private credit asset manager. This strategy aims to create a unique offering within this dynamic asset class, investing in defensive sectors with resilient markets and stable cash flows.

What role will you play? As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with investment professionals to assess potential investment opportunities for Macquarie Asset Management clients. You will also manage and monitor a defined pool of assets within the portfolio, performing rigorous reviews of financial models, credit structures, documentation, rating assessments, and ESG factors. Additionally, you will support the EMEA Portfolio Manager with Investment Committee objectives and long-term fundraising activities.
What you offer:
- 4+ years of experience in structuring and/or analysing corporate debt risk fundamentals
- Knowledge of credit documentation and capital markets
- Proficiency in analytical discussions with a balanced, commercial approach to risk decisions
- Ability to review and work with financial models and have an understanding of due diligence requirements for various proposals, including legal, technical, and financial reports.
