Commodities Operations Analyst – Futures Reconciliations
Our Commodities and Global Markets team operates within Macquarie\’s Market Operations Division, providing critical operational support and maintaining robust controls for our growing Commodities and Global Markets division. The team collaborates closely with trading and futures teams, supporting a broad range of financial and commodity transactions, including agricultural products, gas, power, emissions and uranium, base and precious metals, and commodity investor products.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in the advertised location.

What role will you play?
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will oversee the production of accurate and complete futures reconciliations across multiple desks, ensuring operational efficiency and risk control. You will investigate and resolve breaks between exchange data and internal systems, manage position maintenance tasks, and resolve breaks in internal deal and cash reconciliations.
You will also collaborate with colleagues locally and globally to identify and implement innovative process improvements, optimising workflows and enhancing control frameworks. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in Commodities and Global Markets through effective communication will be key to ensuring high-quality operational support.
