Business Operational Risk Senior Analyst – Principal Investments Macquarie Capital is seeking an experienced Line 1 Governance, Risk and Control manager to support its Principal Businesses in London. The role involves working closely with Infrastructure and Energy, Private Equity, and Real Estate teams. Role Overview In this position, you will support divisional heads in managing the overall operational risk management and control framework. This includes planning, identifying operational risks, designing and executing control assurance, incident investigation, and policy development to ensure effective risk management. You will evaluate new product and business opportunities for operational risks and collaborate with deal teams to assess, manage, and advise on risks associated with new principal assets during due diligence and asset management. Candidate Profile At least 3 years of experience in financial markets related to operational risk (1LOD/2LOD), principal investing, support roles, or audit/assurance A strong desire to learn across multiple business groups High achievement orientation, resilience, and tenacity Innovative mindset with strong relationship-building, collaboration skills, and integrity Ability to manage assurance projects ensuring controls function as intended We welcome applications from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
