Analyst, Infrastructure and Real Estate Portfolio Monitoring, Private Credit
Macquarie Asset Management\’s Private Credit portfolio includes debt investments across various industry sectors and geographies, primarily in the US, UK, and continental Europe. The focus areas include renewable energy (solar and wind), utility assets (water, gas, electricity), traditional infrastructure (roads, rail, airports), digital infrastructure, social housing, real estate, and increasing exposure to core plus infrastructure.

Role Overview
We are seeking a finance, banking, or investment professional to join the Portfolio Monitoring Team. The role involves working closely with origination and investment teams to monitor and manage a designated pool of assets. Responsibilities include reviewing financial models and assumptions, analyzing covenanted deliverables (financial statements, ratios, operating reports, ESG reporting), and assessing credit ratings. The role also supports waiver and consent processes, analyzes risk profile changes, and prepares summaries of proposals. The ability to handle multiple workstreams such as portfolio reporting, ad hoc projects, and investor communications is essential.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience with competencies including:
- Interpreting financial statements and cash flows
- Preparing memorandums or reports on financial, sector, or macroeconomic topics
- Understanding traditional debt characteristics and credit risk assessment of private debt
- Familiarity with infrastructure assets is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with financial models
- Knowledge of due diligence processes and verifying assumptions
- Debt documentation knowledge is beneficial
- Entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity to drive change and initiatives
