Join our Alternatives Wealth Product team – part of our Client Solutions Group at Macquarie Asset Management. Supporting private markets investment strategies distributed through the global Wealth channel, the team provides end-to-end product leadership across the product value chain, spanning product strategy and development, ongoing product management, fundraising support, and product communications.
As a Vice President, you will help to develop a range of alternative investment solutions for the Global Wealth channel, including the research, design, development, structuring, approval and launching of new offerings. You will collaborate with investment and distribution teams to drive innovation, evaluate product ideas using a disciplined framework and bring business stakeholders along the journey for product prioritisation, and will work closely with Product Specialists and Product Communications to define product messaging and client communications. You will conduct macroeconomic and competitor analysis to keep abreast of the industry, regulatory and competitive landscape, and help to identify opportunities that align with our strategic vision, optimise commercial impact and deliver compelling investment outcomes to investors. You will also lead cross-functional project teams to deliver new products and manage existing products throughout their lifecycle.
What you offer:
- 8+ years’ experience in product strategy, product development and product management within asset management, and a deep understanding of the global wealth management industry.
- Demonstrable fund formation experience in private markets and deep knowledge of relevant structures targeted at high net worth and retail investors in EMEA and Asia – e.g. RAIF, UCI II, ELTIF, LTAF.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships, influencing and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly analytical, strategically minded and adept at project management, capable of driving large initiatives effectively towards desired outcomes.
- A learning mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven track record of working with a high level of integrity and accountability.
