Spring Insight

What role will you play?

Joining the Macquarie Spring Insight Programme, you ’ ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself into the financial services industry and Macquarie. Over the one‑week programme, you’ll gain insight into our business groups, the work we do, and the varied career opportunities open to you at Macquarie.

During the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in:

  • Business specific case studies and workshops
  • Trading games and risk assessment activities
  • Panel events and networking opportunities with your insight cohort, as well as employees across our business from graduates to senior leaders
  • Skills‑based sessions, from CV clinics to interview preparation workshops, as well as tips for networking and building your personal brand.

Our Insight Programme will take place during the Easter break, Spring 2026.

You will also have the chance to be fast tracked for the 2027 Macquarie Summer Internship Programme.

What role will you play?

Our Technology team comprises of people based all around the world who create best‑in‑class experiences for our clients and employees. Our teams are responsible for driving simplification and consolidation of our technology architecture and efficiency of our key infrastructure platforms as well as strategic initiatives such as cyber security, and public and private cloud programs.

As part of this programme, you ’ ll:

  • Have the opportunity to immerse yourself into the financial services industry and Macquarie
  • Gain an insight into the different technologies we use as well as some of the varied career paths available to you in technology
  • Participate in interactive project management and skills‑based workshops led by our Technology teams
  • Participate in networking opportunities with graduates to senior leaders across Macquarie\’s Technology teams and the businesses they support.
  • Join skills‑based sessions from CV clinics to interview preparation.

Our Technology Spring Insight Programme will take place during the Easter break, Spring 2026.

Top performers will be fast‑tracked to an early interview for Macquarie’s 2027 Technology Summer Internship Programme.

What you offer

  • We welcome applications from students with all degree backgrounds in their first year of a three‑year course, or second year of a four‑year course.
  • No prior financial experience is required, just an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn.
