About The Role
Reporting into the Engineering supervisor, the multi-skilled engineer will assist in and be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant. As a MS Engineer, you will be able to identify and rectify faults both Mechanically and Electrically along with ensuring planned maintenance work is completed within specified timescales. A proactive approach is required, and you will be expected to take ownership of issues found and drive to completion without supervision.

- Work at all times in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Ensure all food safety, legality, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain an audit-ready approach, ensuring engineering systems and documentation comply with BRC standards.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external data protection requirements, reporting any breaches in line with the Employee Breach Notification Procedure.
- Carry out maintenance of factory equipment, plant, and all site property within the Glenbervie complex.
- Support the maintenance of environmental systems, site services plant, and associated operational procedures.
- Assist with the installation of new plant and services, as well as modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
- Accurately maintain electronic maintenance records and associated engineering documentation.
- Record all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown activities within the CMMS system (IFS).
- Utilise spare parts efficiently and support the identification and maintenance of adequate stock levels.
- Contribute to project work as specified by Engineering Management.
- Participate in a shift pattern rotation as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Engineering Management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Formal engineering qualification, preferably apprentice trained/time served in your chosen discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
