Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and hands‑on Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure exceptional levels of cleanliness, hygiene and compliance across our site.
Hours and Location
- Part‑time: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Shift pattern: Week 1 – 06:00‑14:00 (flexible start/finish); Week 2 – 17:00‑22:00 (two‑week cycle)
- Location: Glenbervie, Aberdeenshire
Salary
£19,331 per annum (£14.87 per hour at 25 hours per week), based on a full‑time equivalent salary of £30,929.60.
Responsibilities
- Hands‑on cleaning duties: vacuuming, dusting, polishing, surface cleaning, mopping, maintaining floors.
- Cleaning toilets, washrooms, changing areas, communal spaces and offices.
- Ensuring all cleaning schedules and checklists are completed to the highest standard.
- Maintaining cleanliness across all designated site areas.
- Supervising and supporting the cleaning team on a daily basis.
- Organising rosters, allocating work efficiently, conducting inspections and quality checks.
- Providing guidance, coaching and on‑the‑job training; escalating performance or attendance concerns.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies, consumables, toiletries and coordinating replenishment.
- Reporting faulty equipment and arranging repairs or replacements.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies, COSHH regulations and company procedures.
- Promoting safe working practices within the team and supporting audit requirements.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience in a cleaning role.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A flexible, reliable and positive approach to work.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and hygiene standards.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to site location).
Desirable:
- Supervisory or team‑leading experience.
- Understanding of COSHH regulations.
- Experience working within factory, manufacturing or food production.
