Job Responsibilities



  • Coordinate customer order processing, ensuring orders are entered accurately and delivered within agreed timescales.

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, liaising with hauliers, suppliers, and third-party warehouse providers.

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records within company systems.

  • Track deliveries and resolve any supply chain disruptions, delays, or customer service issues.

  • Prepare and manage all relevant documentation, including Proofs of Delivery (PODs), export documentation, stock records, and shipping paperwork.

  • Support warehouse operations and provide guidance, training, and supervision where required.

  • Produce and analyse supply chain KPIs and operational reports, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Work collaboratively with production, sales, customer service, and procurement teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Support quality and compliance procedures, including SOP adherence, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional communication and a solutions-focused approach.

  • Experience within a logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or despatch environment.

  • Proven experience in customer order processing and delivery coordination.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and transport logistics.

  • Experience working with hauliers, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong administrative skills with experience managing shipping documentation and stock records.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, particularly for order processing, inventory control, and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across departments and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Previous experience supervising or training warehouse staff.

  • Knowledge of export processes and documentation.

  • Experience using ERP, warehouse management, or stock control systems.
