Role Summary We’re looking for applicants who understand site operations and project delivery. You should have 1-3 years of direct operational experience on Tier-1 sites as operatives or junior site supervisors. Those with sub-contractor, construction engineer and main contractor backgrounds will be strongly considered. This is an entry level role for Maconda and you will be working under supervision. We have a highly experienced senior team so you’ll have an excellent opportunity for further career development and mentorship. The role is perfect for those who are looking to make a career move from site operations from contractors to manufacturers to local government. You’ll be expected to help build and maintain relationships with a wide range of industry stakeholders to identify opportunities for reusing materials. Support our Digital Team in Collecting Building Data • Use your knowledge of site operations and building materials to collect building data under supervision and direction from our senior team. You will be supported by digital tools that will help with surveys, audits and the creation of digital Material Passports. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Genuine Site Experience : you've worked on or around active and complex sites, you understand how contractors and their supply chain operate, and can hold a credible conversation on site operations without needing everything explained. When asked, you should be able to easily describe the makeup of the construction industry and its key stakeholders as well as their role in the value chain and motivations We also look for: • A genuine commitment to sustainability, with real interest in circular economy principles. • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to build relationships with a wide variety of people. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines . • A problem-solving mindset and the flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing, small-team environment. • Reliable and able to work with a degree of autonomy.
