Quantity Surveyor – Office-to-Residential Conversion Location: Hammersmith, London Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + car allowance Office to Apartments Scheme We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team on an exciting residential conversion project. The Project: You will be overseeing the conversion of an office building into apartments valued at £1.5m, with the client having secured a further 23 apartments adding an additional £4m to the project value. This is a high-profile, mixed-scope development offering exposure to all aspects of residential construction cost management. Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for the project. * Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of works. * Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, valuations, and payments. * Provide proactive commercial advice to the project team. * Ensure effective reporting to clients on project financial performance. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or mixed-use conversion projects. * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
