  • Provide advice and guidance to managers across HR policy, employment law and best practice
  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and other complex people issues
  • Lead on attendance management, including short and long-term absence and return-to-work processes
  • Build trusted relationships with managers, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice
  • Support recruitment across the site, including onboarding and induction
  • Support performance improvement and employee development initiatives
  • Contribute to employee engagement, retention and talent initiatives
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and people data
  • Produce HR information, KPIs and reports
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and business requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Finance and Payroll
  • Contribute to wider People projects, organisational change and continuous improvement
  • Support the ongoing development of HR systems and processes

    • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
    • A hands-on, pragmatic and commercially aware approach
    • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
    • The ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate more complex matters
