We are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to own the caseload and handle all ER issues professionally.
What the job entails
As Employee Relations Specialist, you will own and manage the UK employee relations caseload from end to end, covering grievances, disciplinaries, conduct, sickness and absence. Based in the West London office five days a week, you will provide practical, legally sound advice in a fast-paced environment.
You will manage investigations, hearings, outcomes and complex cases, including discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, gross misconduct and dismissals. You will also oversee long-term and capability-related absence, occupational health referrals, reasonable adjustments and selected right-to-work or immigration matters.
A key part of the role is coaching managers to address conduct, performance and absence issues early and effectively. You will create practical tools, templates and guidance, maintain consistent case records, and escalate matters with clear options, cost considerations and risk assessments.
Key requirements / What we look for
- End-to-end employee relations experience across grievances, disciplinaries, sickness and absence.
- Strong, current knowledge of UK employment law and sound commercial judgement.
- Excellent drafting skills, including investigation reports, outcome letters and PIPs.
- Confident manager coach with a calm, fair and decisive approach.
- Comfortable managing a busy caseload at pace and working onsite five days a week.
