We're partnering with a fantastic organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their friendly, collaborative HR team during a particularly busy period.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established team, supporting managers across a wide range of employee relations matters while playing an important role in delivering a responsive and effective HR service.
The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive Employee Relations team, where you'll work closely with managers to provide practical advice and guidance across a variety of employee relations matters. You'll play an important role in managing cases effectively and ensuring managers receive a professional, responsive HR service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and suspension cases.
- Managing a varied caseload, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and records are accurately maintained.
- Supporting managers through formal processes, including preparing meeting documentation, arranging meetings and capturing key information where required.
- Liaising with Occupational Health providers and supporting the management of related reports.
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal administration, including preparing and uploading documentation when required.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider HR function to deliver a consistent and high-quality advisory service.
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for supporting managers through employee relations challenges.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or similar HR advisory role.
- Experience managing a busy caseload, including absence, disciplinary and grievance matters is essential
- Confidence providing advice and guidance to managers, particularly over the telephone.
- Experience working within a high-volume HR advisory, shared services or employee relations environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable style.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of Β£33,000 - Β£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
