We are partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to become the first dedicated HR hire in its London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is confident operating independently, comfortable influencing stakeholders and has the resilience to work in a fast-paced, corporate environment.

Professional Services or Real Estate industry experience is essential.

The Role

Working as part of a small, national HR team, you will be the key HR presence in the London office, working closely with managers, senior stakeholders and colleagues across the wider organisation.

You will provide broad generalist HR support while helping to establish and embed consistent HR practices across the London business.

This is a role where you will need to build credibility quickly, take ownership and be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
  • Manage a range of employee relations matters, including absence, capability and flexible working
  • Build strong relationships with senior and operational stakeholders
  • Advise managers on HR policies, processes and best practice
  • Help establish and embed consistent people practices across the London business
  • Support projects across reward, benefits, engagement and organisational development
  • Support the ongoing integration of two businesses and development of a unified culture
  • Assist with contract and policy harmonisation
  • Support payroll and other core HR processes
  • Take a practical, hands-on approach to the wider HR function

About You

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who can make an immediate impact.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating as an HR Advisor / HR Generalist
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification as a minimum
  • Previous experience within Professional Services or Real Estate – essential
  • Confident employee relations knowledge and experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, commercially minded and confident working independently
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK

As the first dedicated HR hire in London, you will need to be someone who is comfortable taking ownership, dealing with challenging stakeholders and helping to shape how HR operates within the office. You will, however, have the support and guidance of an experienced national HR team.

Why Consider This Role?

The organisation has been through a significant period of integration and change. The HR team has already delivered complex projects including restructuring, TUPE and payroll integration.

The focus is now shifting towards building, engaging and developing the organisation for its next stage of growth.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in:

  • Reward and benefits
  • Culture and organisational development
  • HR process and policy improvement
  • Business integration
  • Wider HR transformation projects

There is genuine scope for career development as the organisation continues to grow.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking for autonomy, visibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.
