Macmillan Davies are delighted to be supporting a hospitality client in recruiting for an experienced ER Consultant for a 3-month contract.

Length: 3 month contract, inside IR35

Setup: Hybrid, 2/3 days office

Start: asap

Location: North London

Duties Include:

  • Review and assess grievance and complaint cases via the case management system, analysing details and categorising by severity. This involves reading and analysing cases daily and using a criteria matrix to justify the tiering of the case.
  • Conduct weekly progress review calls with external HR and legal partners to monitor and track investigations.
  • Evaluate investigation reports and draft outcome correspondence, ensuring findings are summarised for complainants, including letters for no further action and letters of concern. This involves reading lengthy reports and summarising key findings in a user-friendly way for the employee.
  • Prepare disciplinary documentation when required, including drafting invitation letters and redacting meeting notes for inclusion in disciplinary packs.
  • Manage relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Feedback - contributing to weekly team meetings by raising patterns/trends.

This role would suit someone who has a solid background within ER, who has experience in drafting investigation reports and outcome letters; however, please note that this is not an ER advisory role.
