Macmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading global professional services business who are looking to attract a HR Data & Insights Analyst. This role will function to deliver accurate and comprehensive data analysis.
Main duties include:
- Ensure HR data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through regular audits and strong data governance practices.
- Collect, manage, and safeguard HR data from multiple sources in line with data protection.
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering clear, actionable insights to HR and leadership teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards and reports that translate complex data.
- Support strategic HR initiatives with data-driven insights and evidence-based recommendations.
- Partner with HR and senior stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics and solutions.
- Continuously improve HR analytics capabilities by adopting best practices, emerging trends, and reporting tools.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects, embedding data and insights into planning, delivery, and outcomes.
- Build, maintain, and enhance HR databases and Power BI reports, delivering high-quality outputs to deadlines.
- Maintain and enhance existing HR system reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in HR analytics, with strong knowledge of HR data and processes.
- Advanced capability in data analysis and visualisation using tools such as Power BI or Tableau, alongside Excel and SQL.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights.
- High attention to detail.
- Confident working with databases, HR information systems, and reporting platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex data into clear, business-focused insights.
- Strong stakeholder and customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with Workday/similar enterprise HR systems is advantageous.
