About the role

We’re looking for a Change Design Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding change across our transformation portfolio. This is a specialist, high‑impact position where you’ll design the strategies that enable people, teams, and the organisation to successfully adopt new ways of working. You’ll bring deep expertise, thought leadership, and a practical, hands‑on approach—ensuring that every programme is underpinned by robust, people‑centred change design.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the design and embedding of change strategies across major programmes, ensuring organisational readiness and driving successful adoption. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and leading end‑to‑end change strategies aligned to Macmillan’s strategic objectives
  • Assessing organisational readiness, identifying risks, and recommending targeted interventions
  • Developing change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, and adoption roadmaps
  • Partnering with Programme Managers, business leads, and People
