Our Personal Assistants play a vital role in helping senior leaders and teams work effectively, efficiently, and compassionately – enabling us to deliver even greater support for people living with cancer. As our organisation continues its ambitious mission to spark a revolution in cancer care, we are looking for a number of brilliant PAs across a variety of areas to join us and support our leaders and teams to do their best work.

We are keen to connect with talented, organised, and proactive PAs who would be interested in supporting our senior leaders in:

  • People & Culture (Permanent, 1–2 days a week in the London office)
  • Partnerships (12 months fixed term contract, 2 days a week in the London office)
  • Technology (Contract type and office requirements TBC)

About the roles

Our PAs provide high‑quality administrative and organisational support to senior stakeholders, helping to coordinate busy schedules, looking ahead to anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. For some teams this will also include interaction with external parties and stakeholders, ensuring that Macmillan is represented to the highest of standards. While responsibilities will vary depending on the team, duties may include:

  • Complex diary and inbox management
  • Coordinating meetings, travel, and events
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and documentation
  • Supporting leadership meetings and taking minutes/actions
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Helping teams stay organised, efficient, and connected

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Experienced supporting senior leaders or executive teams
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
  • Previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, Team Assistant, or administrative support role would be highly beneficial
