Responsibilities
- Setting a bold vision for internal communications and engagement, ensuring every message strengthens our mission, culture and ambition for people living with cancer.
- Bringing Macmillan’s story to life, crafting powerful narratives that energise colleagues and connect them emotionally to our purpose.
- Partnering closely with senior leaders, including the Executive Team, to shape transparent, meaningful communication that builds trust and alignment.
- Guiding colleagues through transformation and change, creating clarity, confidence and connection during times of change.
- Championing inclusion and belonging, designing moments and channels where every voice can contribute, be heard, and influence how we work.
- Elevating our communication channels and platforms, ensuring everything we create is accessible, engaging and drives real behaviour change.

Qualifications and Experience
- A proven track record of leading internal communications that inspire transformation in complex organisations.
- The ability to influence confidently at the highest levels acting as a trusted strategic adviser who helps shape organisational direction.
- Deep expertise in culture, engagement, and change communications, with an instinct for what people need during periods of transition.
- You’re a natural storyteller who can translate strategy into compelling, human messages that galvanise action.
- A passion for building inclusive, connected workplaces where people feel empowered to contribute and grow.
- The ability to combine strong digital capability with smart, analytical thinking to understand impact and adapt quickly.
