Location: Hybrid - This role is hybrid between home and our London office. The requirement to come into this office will generally be twice a week as this role has an enhanced attendance requirement. You are also able to attend more frequently should you wish, as there is space available for you to work.

Role Purpose
The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a strategic partner to the Chief Executive and Executive Team, responsible for driving organisational alignment, extending the capacity of senior leadership, and ensuring effective governance and delivery of cross‑cutting priorities. The role acts as an independent trusted adviser, project leader, and connector across the organisation, enabling the Chief Executive and Executive Team to focus on what matters most for people with cancer.

- Significant experience at Director level or equivalent, with a track record of strategic leadership and delivery in complex organisations.

- Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.
- Experience of working closely with Boards and senior leadership, with a sound understanding of governance.
- High degree of agility, adaptability, and resilience, with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to act independently, make decisions, and represent senior leaders internally and externally.
- Experience in managing special projects, crisis response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
