The predicted salary is between 19841 - 20162 £ per year.

Start date: Required for Immediate Start

30 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days (We would consider requests for flexible working)

Actual Salary £19,841 - £20,162 (Scale Range 10-11)

Macmillan Academy is seeking to appoint Learning Mentors to support students identified as having special educational needs and disabilities.

About the role

Your role will involve working with students in lessons and on an individual basis, across all year groups, as directed by the SENDCo.

Responsibilities

  • Have qualifications to at least A Level standard with GCSE in both English and maths
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Be able to form a constructive rapport with students to enable them to engage successfully with learning

This role will be ideal for someone who has experience of working with students with special educational needs and disabilities at secondary school level.
