Job Details

  • Role: Cover Supervisor
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working pattern: Full time: 37 hours per week term time + 5 training days
  • Pay scale: 11-13
  • Visa sponsorship: Not offered

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working within a secondary school setting
  • Confidence in leading classes and managing behaviour
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A proactive, resilient and adaptable approach
  • A degree qualification would be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students to remain engaged and on task
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams
  • Provide additional classroom support and intervention when required

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS check (and any additional checks listed in the safeguarding policies)
