Job Details
- Role: Cover Supervisor
- Contract: Permanent
- Working pattern: Full time: 37 hours per week term time + 5 training days
- Pay scale: 11-13
- Visa sponsorship: Not offered
What we’re looking for
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Confidence in leading classes and managing behaviour
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive, resilient and adaptable approach
- A degree qualification would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students to remain engaged and on task
- Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams
- Provide additional classroom support and intervention when required
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS check (and any additional checks listed in the safeguarding policies)
