No experience? No problem.Macleod Roofing currently has a roofing vacancy for a Roofing Apprentice in Inverness. This role will suit an ambitious, motivated individual who wants the opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up.You’ll gain on-site, hands-on experience during the apprenticeship, working alongside skilled tradespeople.You will be supported through structured training, setting you on the path to a professional roofing career.
What You’ll Do
- Assist experienced roofers on live projects (tiling, slating, flat roofing, etc.)
- Learn how to use tools, materials and site equipment safely
- Help with lifting, prepping materials and site setup
- Attend college or training sessions to work toward qualifications
- Follow site safety rules and maintain clean workspaces
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work and working outdoors
- A strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
- A good attention to detail
- Driving licence is a plus, but not essential
