Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of structural systems for various building types
- Prepare structural calculations and design reports
- Produce technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct structural inspections and assessments
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards
- Mentor junior staff and apprentices
Requirements
- BEng/MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartership
- Minimum 3-5 years structural engineering experience
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (Tekla, Robot, etc.)
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence
