Role: Ontologist Location: London (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months Our customer, a major pharma company, is building Knowledge graph systems as part of their Smart manufacturing 2030 vision. This Role is for an Ontologist to be part of the core team to deliver multiple knowledge graph uses cases in an Agile squad model. Key Responsibilities: Educate and mentor a team and peers on the practical use and differentiating value of Linked Data and standards for master data & reference data. Advanced skills in semantic modeling, RDF, OWL, SHACL, and ontology development in Protégé or Altair Knowledge Studio. Conducting workshops and Facilitate whiteboarding sessions with business subject matter experts to elicit knowledge Develop comprehensive business information models and ontologies that capture industry-specific concepts, including CMC, Clinical, and Operations data. Key Skills Drive data driven approach and data quality for interoperability across pharmaceutical domains Formalize data models in RDF as OWL and SHACL ontologies Demonstrated experience creating knowledge graphs with semantic RDF technologies (e.g. Anzo, Neo4j) and testing models with real data. Highly proficient with RDF, SPARQL, Linked Data concepts, and interacting with triple stores. Highly proficient at facilitating, capturing, and organizing collaborative discussions through tools using Microsoft 365, power query editor, Expertise in FAIR data principles and their application in healthcare and pharmaceutical data models.
