Golang Engineer

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a talented Golang Engineer to join a dynamic and agile development team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.\\n\\nIf you are interested and have the relevant skills and experience, please apply promptly to discuss further.\\n\\nRole: Golang Engineer\\n\\nDuration: 6 months\\n\\nLocation: Hybrid/Remote – West Sussex\\n\\nSkillset required:\\n\\n * Excellent knowledge in Golang and Kafka\\n\\n * Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs\\n\\n * Experience developing backend system\\n\\n * Solid background in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development.\\n\\n * Experience with ALM, JIR\\n\\n * Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.\\n\\n * Strong problem solving, analytics, and debugging skills.\\n\\nDesirable Skills:\\n\\n * Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.\\n\\n * Understanding of BDD/TDD.\\n\\n * Hands-on experience with UNIX commands.\\n\\nKey responsibilities:\\n\\n * Work as part of an agile team to deliver features with your focus being on designing and developing Golang based microservices/APIs.\\n\\n * Lead and implement best practices in the team such as consistent branching strategy, coding standards, BDD/TDD, CI/CD and DevOps\\n\\n * Involvement in every step of the software development life cycle, from design, development, testing release changes and troubleshoot whenever necessary.\\n\\n * Follow the Scrum Methodology, participating actively in sprint backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review and sprint retrospective.\\n\\n * Support other team members and teams with sharing your knowledge and implementing innovative solutions that can be used across platforms
