At MacLean International Group, we’re seeking a Tender Specialist to join our Aberdeen office. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the preparation, submission, and administration of tenders to our high-profile International customers, helping to secure key contracts and drive business growth.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Review and analyse tender documents.
- Work closely with manufacturers, sales teams, procurement, and clients to gather necessary information and align on tender requirements.
- Manage the preparation, coordination, and timely submission of tenders.
- Participate in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to secure favourable outcomes.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels to support successful tender outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on award of contracts and contract amendments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Maintain comprehensive and organised records of all tender activities, communications, and contract files.
- Ensure all tender tasks are completed efficiently, professionally, and in line with company procedures and standards.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in tender management, contract administration, or a related role, ideally within the electrical, industrial, or supply chain sectors.
- A knowledge of electrical bulk and cable materials would be advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confident and clear communicator, able to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Detail-oriented with a strong track record in office administration and record keeping.
