We\’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our UK Projects Team, based in Altens, Aberdeen, on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll be a key part of ensuring high-quality, compliant documentation is delivered across our UK operations. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to manage documentation workflows, meet deadlines, and support project delivery. What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the flow of project documentation in line with internal procedures.
- Ensure all document deliverables meet client requirements and company standards.
- Process documents across all UK business units in a timely and efficient manner.
- Track workloads and flag issues that may impact deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet documentation deadlines.
- Advise on document requirements during the tender and quote stages.
- Attend kick-off meetings and support initial client documentation discussions.
- Maintain document control trackers and ensure accurate filing and record-keeping.
- Support invoicing by ensuring all required documentation is complete and submitted.
- Report regularly on documentation status and key project timelines.
- Ensure all archived documents are securely and accurately stored.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a document control or similar administrative role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator who can collaborate across teams and with clients.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with document control software (Nuance experience is a plus).
- A professional, proactive team player with a can-do attitude
