Our Lady's Care Home is currently recruiting for Registered Staff Nurses (days & nights) on a relief basis. This is a vital role within the Home, where you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent care to our much‑loved residents. As a valued and respected member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in care in compliance with the Company, NMC, RQIA, and HSCT requirements. You will be trusted to ensure the health and well‑being of residents by creating a safe and supportive environment that will enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities will range from developing tailored care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, relying on your professional judgment to make clinical decisions, administering medicines, maintaining resident records, and providing professional support to care staff.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a current, active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Hands-on experience working as a Registered Nurse in a care home or residential care environment.
  • Current PREPP, Primary Nursing, Care Planning, and The Patients Charter; dealing with problems associated with the elderly.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including RQIA, HSCT, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient‑centred approach to care.
  • Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the well‑being of residents.
  • Ability to work set hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Must have a good command of written and spoken English and a valid work permit.
  • Be in good general medical health (medically fit).
