Job Description
Our Lady\’s Care Home in Belfast is recruiting a Relief Housekeeping Assistant (0 hours). The role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks – dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitising.
- Maintain high standards in rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Clean and disinfect high‑touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
- Replenish supplies (soap, toilet paper, towels).
- Follow infection control protocols and COSHH regulations.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team.
Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar roles (preferred).
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and products.
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and punctuality; able to work independently or as part of a team.
