Parkmanor Oaks Care Home (Dunmurry) is currently recruiting a Registered Staff Nurse to join our friendly, caring, and progressive nursing home on a relief basis. This role supports a team that delivers excellent care to much-loved residents.
Location: Parkmanor Oaks Care Home, 6 Thornhill Road, Dunmurry.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent patient care in compliance with company, NMC, RQIA, and HSCT requirements.
- Create and maintain safe and supportive environments to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Develop tailored care plans, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, use professional judgement for clinical decisions, administer medicines, maintain accurate resident records, and provide professional support to care staff.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with current active NMC registration.
- Knowledge of PREPP, Primary Nursing, Care Planning and the Patients Charter, and experience with elderly care issues.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements including RQIA, HSCT, and health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload while maintaining high standards of care.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care.
- Commitment to promote and safeguard residents’ well-being.
- Flexibility to work set hours and adapt to organisational needs.
- Good written and spoken English and a valid UK work permit.
- Good general medical health (medically fit).

- Proven experience in a similar care home environment.
- Management skills for leading a care team.
