About the Role

  • Essential responsibilities include delivering excellent care to residents, creating care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, administering medications, maintaining resident records, and supporting care staff.

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with current NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of PREPP, Primary Nursing, Care Planning and The Patients Charter.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements including RQIA, HSCT and health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, patient‑centred approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding resident well‑being.
  • Flexibility to work set hours and respond to organisational needs.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Valid UK work permit and in good general medical health.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in a similar nursing home or care home setting.
  • Management and team leadership skills.
