Role Overview

As a sales ledger clerk / accounts assistant, you'll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial information that helps drive key business decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales invoice processing
  • Communicating with customers on any potential issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Customer account reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Liaising with other departments on any potential issues.
  • Providing additional support as required across the finance team.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Sage payroll) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
